Honeymoon on The Island of Moyo

Maybe a lot of foreign tourists by the name of Moyo Island, a tiny island located in the northern island of Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara. The extent of 330 km square, with a maximum height of 671 m and 88 km of coastline. Administratively, this island including the regency of Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara Province.

Although relatively quiet and small, Moyo Island has a wealth of natural wonders. The island is a tourist favorite location for foreign tourists, especially Europeans. Seeing the beauty of the sea, beaches, and nature does offer peace of its own for connoisseurs of the beauty of the outdoors and underwater.

To reach the island-exotic-nan, the journey starts from the city of Mataram. For accommodation, there are some travel that provides services to reach the island of Sumbawa, but not to Moyo. Costs need to be prepared to get to Sumbawa around Rp.100, Rp.200 thousand per person. From Sumbawa we took the speedboat to get to Moyo. It takes approximately 8-9 hours of travel land and sea. In addition, there are other alternatives, namely by using 'pick' with personal amphibious aircraft provided by PT. Amanwana. Of course, costs more expensive.

 However, the fatigue caused by the long trip that was paid off since we first set foot on the ground Moyo. The beauty began to shine everywhere. The butterfly will come to greet from behind the shrubs. I first comments were: "COOOOOL!"

In addition to various types of butterflies, the island is also inhabited by a variety of bird, bat, macaque, wild pig, deer, monkeys and snakes. One of the rare bird species that are their natural habitat on the island of Moyo is Megapodius. With the natural conditions are still very natural, not recommended to explore the island without a guide. Because although Moyo classified as small islands, the possibility of getting lost on the island is still there. Even so, lost in Moyo is not something that is very terrible for me. Hoho .. Hiking in the woods, along rivers and waterfalls, as well as an underwater tour of the island treats its own. But for my under-airlah tour of the most interesting. There is only one hotel that stands above the surface of Moyo. Amanwana. A five star hotel that presents luxury and privatization for their customers. Amanwana only provide 20 tent-cottages are beautiful. The concept is to offer a "back to nature", without any noise from the television or radio. To spend the night there, at least we need to pay about $ 700 per night.
